We invite you to discover or rediscover Georges Méliès, a master of film, a magician and artist of limitless imagination, a genius of invention and enchantment… !

To complete the 5 DVD box-set from 2009, we present the 6th DVD, ready to fill the last slot in the set.

We have found 26 new films of George Méliès, dating from 1896 to 1911, many of which are exclusively available here.
The original music, composed by six musicians, accompanies the films in the spirit of the era.

The films include, Défense d’afficher, one of the oldest known films of Méliès, an unedited version of Juif errant, and Omnibus des toqués ou blancs et noirs, a unique and surprising film from the first wizard of cinema.
In addition, the disk includes two Segundo de Chomón films, Excursion dans la lune (1908) and Les roses magiques(1906).
