Serge Bromberg présents The Archive Cabaret
The first ever Outstanding Achievement Award for Archive Preservation and Restoration will be presented to Serge Bromberg of Lobster Films of Paris for his dedication and success in saving and
enhancing our shared visual heritage. Just recently, Bromberg and Lobster Films, along with his partner
Eric Lange, have been instrumental in restoring the work of Charlie Chaplin and George Méliès,
including his 1902 colour classic Trip to the Moon, in collaboration with Foundations
Groupama-Gan and Technicolor. He has been recognized at Cannes, Telluride, and Anecy festivals for his important work, as well as for his highly-entertaining presentations of silent films, which
he accompanies on the piano. He will be presenting his Archive Cabaret and the newly restored Trip
to the Moon at History Makers International.
