The Lobster collection is a gold mine of old images in black and white or colour ranging from the birth of cinema to the beginning of the 1960's, and covering all genres and various topics: silent and sound newsreels (especially the Universals), documentaries, war films, cartoons, slapstick, jazz, as well as music-hall numbers from the turn of the 20th Century, westerns, adventure films and musicals from Hollywood's Golden Age, French comedies of the thirties and forties, and amateur films.

Among the 20,000 titles of the collection, more than 3,000 hours have been telecined from the best film elements existing. These images of exceptional quality, all available today on Digital Beta and most of them shot-listed, make up a film archive that can't be ignored.

Our stock footage computer database, very regularly updated, is now on-line. Research can be done very simply and very rapidly from your office or home using key words. In record time you obtain a list of images corresponding to your research, with their references.
